Sermon Preached on September 15, 2013
It is Opening Sunday, my first here with you. We walk across the threshold, through those great doors, and come into the shelter of these old walls. As women and men and children have been doing now for hundreds of years. We can not see them with our eyes– But they are here with us–Their strength a strength for us– Their sorrows and loneliness and loss are companions for our own. Their courage urges us on.
