It has been a week of iconic photographs and iconic words.  A week of anniversaries—John Kennedy’s assassination, the Gettysburg Address.

How many times have I watched Jack Kennedy flash his wide smile, listened to the clips from his speeches, that Boston plus prep school accent so distinctive
