Making our voices heard on contemporary issues

At our February 18 service, we remembered by name each of the young adults who lost their lives in the Parkland, Florida shootings. During the month of February, members of the Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church, led by Rev. Janet Parsons, also shared their concerns at public rallies at Gloucester’s Grant Circle.

Director of Religious Education, Rose Sheehan, organized an open forum, Let the Youth Lead, providing a space for Cape Ann’s youth to voice their thoughts on the issues most concerning to them. Over 30 youth attended and many spoke out.
